Be Anything Career Days

Join us for a series of Career Days this summer at the Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum featuring different professions for your child to explore. Enjoy career-related experiences throughout the museum, take a selfie with the presenters, and register for our online auction. Visit all the career stations and be entered into a raffle to win a prize that helps bring the experiences home with you.Career Days are free with museum admission or membership.

The Natural World

Saturday, June 15 | 1-3PM 

Join us to BE ANYTHING! at the Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum! In June we are exploring careers related to nature, animals, and the Illinois River. Meet a steam boat captain, a wildlife biologist, and more!

Makers & Fixers 

Saturday, July 20 | 1-3PM
We are exploring careers that involve using your hands, brain, and sometimes whole body to make new things and fix or reuse what you have. Meet an architect, an artist, a ballerina, an electrician, a bike mechanic, and more! 

Community Heroes 

Saturday, August 17 | 1-3PM
We are exploring careers that save lives. Meet representatives from the police and fire departments, explore an ambulance, learn about the work of doctors and nurses, and more!

People in Our Neighborhood 

Saturday, September 28 | 1-3PM
We are inspired by the PlayHouse exhibit Peoria Then and Now to look at community jobs, including dentists, finance professionals, and more!
