Q: What to wear?
A: We consider attire dressy casual. Jeans are fine but if you’re feeling a little more formal, we’re okay with that, too.
Q: What beverages are included?
A: We are including unlimited beverages with the purchase of a ticket but will be monitoring alcohol consumption for your safety. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available at no cost. Please drink responsibly.
Q: Where is check in?
A: Please follow the porch around the building to check-in. Signs for both, VIP and Standard ticket holders, will be posted to help you along the way.
Q: Why do we require credit cards at check in?
A: For ease and efficiency, we ask that there is a credit or debit card on file under your name. You can keep your credit card on file when you purchase your ticket. If there are more guests in your party, each guest can pre-register the credit card by going to https://HopScotch2019.ggo.bid. Providing a credit card allows you to purchase game tickets, raffle tickets, and participate in the online auction. If you do not make any purchases or participate in the auction, your credit card will not be used.
Q: Do we accept other methods of payment?
A: While we prefer credit cards due to the ease of purchases, we will also accept cash and checks as methods of payment during the event.
Q: Do we need to be present to win the raffle?
A: We will draw the raffle winner at 8:45PM. Only the raffle winner may pick up the won item at the Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum. Winners need not be present to win.
Q: When and where do we pick up an auction item?
A: The online auction will end at 8:15PM, prior to the last VIP event. If you win an item during the online auction, only the winning bidder may pick up the won item. Items can be picked up at the Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum and winners need not be present to win.
Q: Can we make an additional donation to the Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum?
A: We accept all donations made during the event and proceeds benefit the Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum, including our Maker Space and monthly Maker workshops which foster innovation and problem solving skills in children ages 3 and up.
Q: Where can I purchase game tickets?
A: You can purchase game tickets during the event. Game tickets are good for the Dino Dig, Ring Toss, and Beer Goggles.
Q: Can you purchase tickets at the door?
A: Based on availability, standard tickets may be purchased for $85 at the door.
Q: Can you upgrade to the VIP Experience after arriving?
A: VIP tickets are sold in advance on a first come/first serve basis. If there are tickets remaining the night of the event, you may be able to upgrade your standard ticket for $35. Signs will be posted if this option is available.
Q: Can you upgrade to the VIP Lounge without the VIP Whiskey Tasting?
A: No, the VIP Lounge is exclusive to VIP ticket holders. If you want to experience the comforts of the VIP Lounge, you must have purchased a VIP Ticket (or upgrade if that option is available).
